The Very Rev Dr Kenneth Joseph Gardner – announcement

Hi Living Church, It is with sadness that I advise of the passing of the Very Rev Dr Kenneth Joseph Gardner on Thursday 15 May 2025, aged 98 years. He passed away after spending a week in hospital following a “heart episode”. Ken served as both Moderator-General (the first after “Church Union”) and Clerk of the General Assembly of Australia. Likewise, he served as Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Queensland and as Assembly Clerk

Seven Songs Series – nominate your song!

This series will be all about learning how to think biblically and theologically about our culture. It’s a chance to take the ideas of culture that we are surrounded by and evaluate them for what is good and true, and what is evil and false. In Acts 17:28, we see that Paul knew the poets of his own time well enough to quote them to people at the Areopagus and use them in his gospel
