Eph. 4:7
7 But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.

In this verse, Paul is setting groundwork for a discussion about gifts given to each of us.
Paul is not saying we are given different ‘levels’ of saving grace.
Instead his point is that each of us have, by God’s generous and gracious provision, been given different gifts to serve the church. Later verses in this chapter go into this in more detail.
Although we are part of the church, elsewhere in Ephesians we’ve been reminded that Jesus is the head of our church.
Let’s be thankful for grace.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for your saving grace. Thank you that although you call us to be part of one church, we all have a unique role to play. Sorry that we forget about your grace and get distracted. In your mercy, please strengthen us for the tasks you have called us to do.
