Sharing the gospel and sharing lives

“We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.”

1 Thessalonians 2:8

Praise God that we get to wake up to another beautiful day that he has given us. Some of us are able to go to church today and some may have to stay home for different reasons. Church is something that we should do throughout the week as we share our lives with each other, take care of one another, encourage each other and build each other up. Sunday services are a great opportunity to “do church” with each other and glorify God together. Sharing our lives – our victories and defeats, fears and concerns, our laughter and tears – that’s what Paul did and what he’s calling us to do. Who can you reach out to today, offering not just friendliness but true friendship? Your actions can have eternal implications for them and when God sees our hearts focused on how we can love others he will be delighted and glorified.
