At the end of this year, our wonderful Administration Officer Zoë Bates, is finishing up her time on staff at Living Church. Zoë is a well-loved member of staff who has done excellent work for us, and we are sad to lose her from the team.
With Zoë moving on to pursue other career opportunities, it has given us the opportunity to review our staff and administration structures. After discussion with the Board, and Committee of Management and staff team, we have decided to create a new position to oversee administration at Living Church.
The new Office and Operations Manager position will be responsible for the management and timely completion of administration and operational tasks at Living Church. While some tasks will be completed by the Office and Operations Manager, the focus of this position will be to build, develop and oversee a volunteer team who will perform the bulk of the administrative and operational tasks at Living Church.
We are now taking expressions of interest from people within our Living Church community. The role is fulltime, however, part time applicants will be considered for possible job sharing arrangements. We are hoping to have interviews and a preferred candidate ready for congregational approval at the upcoming November 24 congregational meeting.
