Our services have been busy the last couple of Sundays. Our 9am service particularly has seen a significant increase in the number of people in the room. We have been praying for people to join us at Living Church, and it seems that this is happening.
Last month, I posted about the increased numbers attending our services Read that post here Since the beginning of Term 4, the number of people attending our services has continued to climb. Thank you God.
Standing at the back, as I do, welcoming people, it can be hard to find spare seats. And making it hard to find a seat is the last thing we want to do – so, here’s a couple of ideas for us, that will make it easier for a newcomer to find a seat: –
- Sit towards the middle of the row.
- Sit next to your friends or family, not leaving any spare seats between you.
- When you know you need to get out, for example, to read the bible – sit on the end of a row.
- As soon as you notice people coming down the aisle looking for a seat – move into the middle.
We have been strategizing on how to love our newcomers and visitors well, as we welcome them into our church home. Updates about these strategies will be in the Newsletter in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, if you have any concerns or ideas around this matter, please come and have a chat or contact me via the Office: 3398 4333.
