for they will be shown mercy.
In a world tainted by sin, it can be hard to grow an appetite for godly behaviours. Can I encourage you today to stop and have a think please about what you’re looking forward to doing once you finish reading this? Do you long for heaven? Or, like most of us, are you chasing satisfaction in earthly things that might seem sweet for an instant but then ultimately leave a bitter taste in your mouth?
Why not try praying and asking God to be more satisfied in Him and His ways. That may include being kind and forgiving to someone today. The Bible promises that your father in heaven will likewise be merciful to you.
