Lately it has been crazy for Queensland and for the world; We had an outbreak and a lock down then straight into Easter. Then just as things quiet down here comes the sad news of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh passing. This world rises and falls, and it can all feel like a little too much. 

Personally, I do not do well when we go into lock down, the loneliness is not something that I love. The inconsistency of the good and the bad and the uncertainty that brings is difficult. 

However, I don’t share this for pity or to bring you down, I share this with you because the truth is that you are not alone. We have God and because of his love we have each other.   

God is with us and we do not have to live in inconsistency because God is consistent. He has given us the promise of a world of consistent peace and togetherness with Him.  

Truly knowing God is with us is a habit we need to exercise. Yes, the world is overwhelming, but the best thing is that God’s overwhelming love can trump all of that.
