Mark 6:45 – 46
45 Immediately Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to Bethsaida, while he dismissed the crowd. 46 After leaving them, he went up on a mountainside to pray.
No matter the situation, or what’s going on around him, Jesus always prioritises prayer. Even after a day of chaos or exhausting work, he always finds the energy to talk to God. Whenever I have a busy day, usually prayer is the furthest thing from my mind, but I do find that when I do take the time to stop and process and take a moment to spend time with God, then everything else that might be going on in that moment seems a little less overwhelming.
