Luke 22:42
“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”
As we reflect on this verse, let us think about the times when we have trusted our Lord in the same way that Jesus trusted Him, and reflect also on times when we have not been so trusting.
- Pray for God to help you to trust him thoughout whatever circumstance or challenges you may be facing this month. Ask for forgiveness in the times when your trust has been lacking.
- Pray for God’s will to be done in your own life and in the lives of those around you. Submit your life to Him.
- Thank God that Jesus trusted Him enough to give up his own life on the cross, and for the amazing gift of salvation that you now receive because of this act of trust and obedience.
