To our Dear Family in Jesus at the Living Church,
Well another year is almost gone and what a year it has been 😊 There have been ups and downs and trials and testings but overall we have seen the work go ahead over here — due to the grace of our great God. People saved, churches planted and more missionaries sent out.
The Lord also enabled us to meet our goal of completing the commentary on the book of Acts. Acts is 28 chapters and takes up 1/8th of the NT so it was quite a task. We completed the commentary in video format for our TA churches to have going forward, as there is no other commentary in their language apart from what Deb and I are producing. I guess when we started the project we really didn’t know how many episodes we were going to produce but we wanted it in video format as well as audio along with downloadable study guides and visual aids. I guess that we can just say that we are so thrilled that God enabled us to produce this material. There is still some video editing that is taking place but it should all be done by the end of the year and all 42 episodes uploaded. I will put a link in below so you can have a look at what it looks like.

In addition to the Talaandig material, we have a team of guys that come to our home every Tuesday and they are producing this same material on Acts – but just in the language of Cebuano. There are about 20 million Cebuano speakers and once again, Bible commentary on the Word is basically non-existent. The hits on our website have tripled in the past 90 days as different churches are finding this material and loving it. If Deb and I can leave the NT commentary for our churches over here in both Talaandig/Higaonon and Cebuano we will be rapt. We are thinking that it may take another 7 years or so??? The Cebuano materials on Acts should be done by ½ way through 2025 as they are shadowing Deb and my material in TA.

On December 2 Deb and I will go home to Perth. We are so excited. Just about 6 more sleeps and we begin the trip that will take a few days from here as we will stop over in Manila. So much we want to see Jubab and Freya and our Mums and other family. We will be in Perth for a month and then return back to the Philippines in early January. When we arrive back here in Mindanao we are going to begin producing commentary on 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy and Titus. I have begun studying already and have really enjoyed what I am learning and looking forward so much to teaching it and producing this commentary for the churches here – both in Talaandig and Cebuano again. Need lots of prayer.
