At the Cross – Gaither Vocal Band 

“Was it for crimes that I have done 
He groaned upon the tree? 
Amazing pity, grace unknown 
And love beyond degree” 

Few people would doubt that music is a gift from God. However, even more of a blessing is when music is presented in its purest form, for the worship and praise of Him and Him alone. “At the Cross” by Gaither Vocal Band is no exception to this rule. As well as featuring the God given operatic talents of David Phelps (tenor), this song paints an amazing picture of God’s grace. Listening to it always reminds me of the completed work of Christ upon the cross, and that ultimately “It was there by faith, I received my sight“. Thank you, God, for the ways you have opened our eyes, and help us to look upon you in all that we do.
