Singleness – something for everyone

I would like to encourage as many people as possible to come along to our Term 2 Workshop.

Here is the picture of church we’re given in Acts 2:

The Fellowship of the Believers

42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”

Being together as believers, having everything in common, meeting together in the temple courts, being in our homes and eating together are encouragements to all believers. Sometimes it seems more difficult for single people to be part of this type of fellowship.

  • Most Growth Groups have people in them who are single.
  • Many people, across the age spectrum of our church are single.
  • While most people get married, but not all our kids will get married.
  • Many of us will be single at some point in our lives.

We all know & love people who are single – this workshop will open our eyes as to how we can better minister to single people as we love each other and Christ.

Dani Treweek is a great speaker, warm & engaging. Here is her website so you can see the breadth and depth of her ministry https://www.danielletreweek.com/
