LOOP Camp recap

LOOP Camp Easter 2026 was a fantastic few days away and a real encouragement for everyone involved. With 18 campers this year (including 6 from Living Church) and a wonderful team of 10 leaders, the camp had a relaxed, fun-filled atmosphere from start to finish. We were blessed with great weather, an easygoing group of kids and leaders, and plenty packed into the week. From Blast Aqua Park and team challenges to movie night, bush dance, and heaps of games, there was always something happening—along with lots of smiles and great conversations.

It was also a joy to see Living Church members serving in key roles throughout camp. Anne-Maree Hamilton did a wonderful job as Camp Director, leading with her usual calmness, care, and enthusiasm. Tish and I had the privilege of leading the iWitness Bible sessions, where we explored stories of people encountering Jesus in Mark’s Gospel. Together we looked at who Jesus is, why He came, His death and resurrection, and what it means to trust Him today.

A real highlight was hearing leaders share their own testimonies and stories of faith. It was powerful for campers to hear how Jesus is still at work, meeting people and changing lives today. We’re so thankful for the opportunity to be part of such a special week, and grateful to God for the friendships formed, seeds planted, and memories made.

Please pray that the campers would continue to grow closer to God, and that the seeds sown in their hearts would take root and flourish.
