Prayer 3 April 2025

1 Peter 1:3-5
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

With Easter approaching this month, let us take the next few weeks to reflect on the life and sacrifice of Jesus and what this means for us.

  • Term 1 of school ends this week
    • Thank God for all teachers and administrative support staff who invest their time, care and energy into educating our next generation
    • Pray for families to find opportunities to spend time together these school holidays, to refresh and rejuvenate in preparation for term 2
  • Pray for non Christians on your heart, perhaps some whom you might like to invite to church on Good Friday and Easter Sunday
  • Pray also for those who do not yet follow Jesus but are exploring Christianity and the message of the gospel – pray the Holy Spirit would lead them to accepting this amazing gift of salvation that Jesus has to offer them
