Faith for Exiles

In the book Faith for Exiles, they list 8 practical insights about living as God’s people in exile from Jeremiah 29. 

1. Exiles should make prayer a mission. 
2. Exiles should be faithful and holy. 
3. Exiles should be fruitful. 
4. Exiles should live for the sake of others. 
5. Exiles must be wary, realistic, and also hopeful. 
6. Exiles should take epic risks to say and do what is right. 
7. Exiles should realise that God is at work for good, even in exile. 
8. Exiles must find their home in God. 

Reflection:  

Read Jeremiah 29:1-23. Reflect on what it might look like for you to live like this. Spend some time praying for help in this.
